DevConnections and OpenForce 2007 in Vegas

From Monday night to Thursday afternoon next week I will be in Las Vegas attending both DevConnections/ASPConnections as well as the DotNetNuke OpenForce conference. After that, I will be up in Redmond for the next week.

I wrote before that I would be speaking on a couple panels at OpenForce conference talking about open source and .NET.

It's unfortunate that the first panel is at 8:00 AM because I never really sleep much at all when I’m in Vegas. I pretty much have too much fun (unless I’m losing bad). So if you run into me, I apologize in advance for the fool I make of myself. ;)

Another talk you'll not want to miss is the MVC talk given by Scott Hanselman and Eilon Lipton.

Someone really needs to record these talks so those of us that can't make it out to Vegas for one reason or another (usually lack of $$) can still get a hold of the great content.

++ for the recording of the sessions. Get Scott H. in there with his shakeycam again making like the Blair Witch Project if nothing else.

See, the funny thing is when they put together the first panel they didn't know it'd soon be filled with MS shills. Well, Scott Guthrie probably did.

Phil, it is excellent to see that you're taking part in OpenForce. I will definitely try to make it to one of those panel discussions.

I also ++ for recording some of the sessions... unless someone can tell me how to be in two places at once. There are too many good talks that are scheduled concurrently.

Does that mean you won't make Hanselman's geek dinner Thursday night? Or is he not going to make it based on this schedule? ;)

Yeah, I won't make it. I'm flying back to Los Angeles on Thursday, and then flying up to Redmond on Friday.

The next conference for the Open Source community will be held from November 10 till 13, 2008 in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, NV. After reading all your comments about last year, I will try to attend this year's conference. I couldn't find the schedule on the website yet, but the list of keynote speakers is impressive. Thanks for the tip.
